Private Lessons:

1 Hour Group - $25.00 per person make up your own group and time (limit 4)

45 Minute Semi Private - $25.00 per person

We teach from the ground up so that your child is well versed in all areas of horsemanship!

Lessons include how to lead and handle your horse on the ground to ensure safety while here at the stable. Grooming, how to properly tack up and un tack (this term means to saddle & bridle your horse before and after your ride). 

We teach English (balance seat), Western, on our gaited and non gaited horses. Beginner through advanced. We accommodate all abilities with our specially trained equines.

What to bring: Long pants, a boot or shoe with a heel, we provide helmets, and an eargerness to learn all about horses! 

Cancellation Policy :  Please provide 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your lesson.  Lessons not canceled 24 hours in advance, will be charged in full.

Girl Scouts 

Interested in earning your Horse Fan or Horse Rider Badges?

Serenity Mountain Stables is the place for you. We offer activities to complete all badge requirements. Come individually or as a troop.

TOTAL ESTIMATED TIME: 1½  to 2½ Hours
TOTAL COST: $15 per Scout (minimum 6)
There are no required Horseback Riding Activities for the Horse Fan Badge. However, if your troop would like to add in a Ride, we can can do this for an additional cost of $5.00 per scout.

 Horse Fan Badge Requirements:

• On the Trail ? find out about trail riding in your community
• Caring for Horses ? visit a stable and find out about feeding, everyday care, shoeing, etc.
• Fashion and Function ? correct and safe clothing for equestrians.
• Horses Through History ? make a booklet about history and development of horses.
• Song of the Horse ? listen to cowboy ballads.
• Make a Career of Riding ? Explore at least three horse related careers.
• Ease with Equipment ? parts of the saddle and bridle.
• Horse ?Tales? ? famous or legendary horses.
• Horse Stories ? read a book about horses.
• Showing Off ? attend a horsemanship event.

Lease a horse by the month!

Want a horse but can't really afford all the expenses? Why not lease one for a month?

$150.00 1-2 times a week.

$200.00  2-3 times a week.

$300.00  3-5 times a week.

Requirements: You will need to take at least 2 lessons a month (so this could mean an extra 2 days of riding if you choose not to use your lease day). The only day the horses are not leased out are Saturday's between 9-4.
